How to use it
Fill it with seed suited to garden birds and hang it somewhere you can see from a window. Close to a hedge or shrub gives birds somewhere to dart to, but keep it away from spots where cats can hide and pounce.
Clean it every week or two with hot soapy water, rinse and let it dry before refilling. Throw away seed that has gone damp or mouldy, which is more likely in wet UK weather.
Be patient. Birds can take days or weeks to find a new feeder, and we can't promise which species will visit. Squirrels may also try their luck, as plastic feeders are not squirrel-proof.
