How to use it
Useful inside wardrobes and kitchen cupboards, on landings and stairs, and along hallways where you don't want to fumble for a switch at night. Charge it by USB, then fit it at roughly waist to chest height, facing the direction people walk from.
The sensor picks up body heat moving across its view. It will not usually react through glass or round corners, and it works best when people walk across its path rather than straight towards it.
The magnet needs a metal surface or a mounting plate to hold onto. Check what is included before you plan where it goes. It is a small accent light for finding your way, not a replacement for a ceiling light.

Will it stick to a wooden cupboard?
Not on its own. The magnet needs metal, so you will need a mounting plate fixed to the wood first.
Can I use it on an outside porch?
We can't confirm it is weatherproof, so we suggest using it indoors or in a covered porch only.
