This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on nookyard.co.uk, and what each one is for.
Always on: needed for the shop to work
Shopify, which runs our shop, uses essential cookies to keep your basket, run the checkout securely and remember your cookie choice. These can't be switched off.
Analytics: cookies only if you accept
Shopify analytics counts visits and shows which pages people view, so we can see what's working. It only uses cookies if you accept.
Microsoft Clarity shows us how visitors use our pages: where people tap and scroll, and where a page is confusing. Clarity hides anything you type, such as your name, address or card details. Before you accept cookies it runs without storing anything on your device; once you accept, it uses cookies to link the pages of one visit together. Microsoft processes this data for us. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
Only if you accept: advertising
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) tells us which of our ads led to a visit or an order, so we don't waste money on ads that don't help anyone. See Meta's privacy policy.
Microsoft Advertising (Bing) shows which visits come from our listings on Bing Shopping and Microsoft's other services. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
Changing your mind
You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the cookie banner will then ask again on your next visit. For anything else, see our privacy policy or email yardnook@gmail.com.
